Hi, I’m Avery

It’s nice to meet you. I’m a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist of 6 years based in Boone, North Carolina.

I began my independent practice of massage in January 2020.

I’m a lover of all things in nature. Before I began my journey in the healing arts, my first professional passions were whitewater raft guiding and caving in East Tennessee/Western North Carolina for 5 years, both of which I still enjoy. I feel most at home amongst the trees, rivers, and hills of the Appalachian Mountains. In my free time I enjoy gardening, preparing/trying new herbal remedies, reading, or spending time with my amazing friends.

Many describe my work as intuitive and informative. Bodywork is like a moving meditation; I use various levels of pressure, passive stretching, and an array of techniques, tools and treatments to elevate your experience. Each of us has our own way in which we can bring awareness to our bodies, where we may be holding tension and lacking in flow.

My offering to my Boone-and-beyond community is my expression of these sacred healing arts. Flow State is my heart, a garden. I tend to it diligently with love and care and in return, it nourishes me physically and spiritually.

My goal is to come along side you and support you in your pursuit of health and well-being. The wide umbrella of bodywork can increase our awareness of our own internal landscape and help us write new stories to integrate and help move us forward. Pain, grief, and fear can burden us in a literal, physical way. One way we can unravel those stories is by offering new experiences of grounded-ness, peace, and positive regard to our bodies. While Avery does not accept individual clients for mobile massage, individuals can book their appointment with Avery at Boone Studio Collective. (200 Den Mac Drive, Unit 1 Next to Center 45. Available by appointment only)
